Tony Cissell, former general manager of Henryk de Kwiatkowski's Calumet Farm, has has been named director of sales and bloodstock services at Helen Alexander's Middlebrook Farm in Lexington, Ky.
"We are excited about having Tony on board at Middlebrook," Alexander said. "His extensive experience in the Thoroughbred industry, from racetrack to Calumet, is invaluable," said Alexander. "He will be an important part of our team going forward."
In addition to his duties with the farm's sales activities, Cissell will also pursue consulting services for additional clients.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Cook, security director for the New York Racing Association, has named two New York State Police veterans to positions in the security department.
Richard H. Eggleston, a former trooper, investigator, and senior investigator with the state police, has been named NYRA's chief of investigations. Bruce C. McAleavey, who recently retired from the New York State Police after serving in positions that included supervisor of the uniform forces and major/director of aviation, is NYRA's new chief of patrol.
