Jockey Joe Crispin won six races on Saturday afternoon at Portland Meadows Racetrack.
It is the second time at the current Oregon meeting that a rider has won six on a single race card.
Crispin began his great day by capturing the opener aboard Cajun Law ($5.00). He returned to capture races three and four on Moneycat ($6.40) and Kya Jo ($4.00) respectively.
Kya Jo won the afternoon's feature event, the OTBA Stallion Stakes for 3-year-olds.
Crispin won the final three races of the evening, beginning in the eighth with Jekyll and Hyde ($5.80), followed by victories aboard Dot of Honor ($4.20) and She Trouble ($12.20).
The rider also had two second-place finishes, a third and a fourth in his 10 rides on the day. He increased his total Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse wins on the meet to 51, putting him five wins behind leading rider Juan Gutierrez.
Gutierrez, who only rides in Thoroughbred events, won six at the Delta Park oval in Dec. 1.
Crispin nearly matched a career best he set four years ago, when he secured seven wins in one day at Portland Meadows.
