Solis Handed Three-Day Suspension

Alex Solis, Santa Anita's leading rider, has been suspended for three days "for failure to exert the proper effort to maintain a straight course through the stretch" on Dec. 31.

The infraction resulted in the disqualification of Royally Chosen from first to second in the Kalookan Queen Handicap. Solis is to serve the suspension from Jan. 8-10.
