Take wins 13th Japanese Riding Title

Jockey Yutaka Take, who set a record in 2003 with his 204 wins, wrapped up his 13th career title Sunday as the Japan Racing Association season came to an end.
The 34-year-old Take smashed his previous mark of 178 wins set in 1978. He also had the highest earnings with 3.86 billion yen, from which 5% he receives as income.
Trainer Kazuo Fujisawa notched his 63 victory of the year when Symboli Kris S won the Arima Kinen on Sunday to claim his ninth consecutive best trainer award. His total purse winnings were 1.94 billion yen, from which 10% he receives as income.
