Graded stakes winner Griffinite will enter stud at Center Brook Farm near Climax, N.Y., for a fee of $4,000 live foal.

A 5-year-old son of Unbridled's Song, Griffinite raced for Ernie Paragallo's Paraneck Stable, winning five of 28 starts and earning $344,267. He captured the 2001 Lafayette Stakes (gr. III) and ran second in the Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland to open his 3-year-old season. His three other stakes-placings included efforts in the Brooklyn Handicap (gr. II) and Nashua Stakes (gr. III).

Bred by Peter Blum, Griffinite was produced from the In Reality mare Copious, a half-sister to millionaire and successful sire Devil His Due.
