Jockey Jesse Garcia was hospitalized Monday night for evaluation and treatment of injuries he sustained when thrown from his mount, Dan's Ky Blue, shortly after the start of the ninth race at Rockingham Park. The jockey complained of pain in both knees before being transferred to Holy Family Hospital in Metheun, Mass. Dan's Ky Blue was not injured…Florida Derby (gr. The 3-year-old winner trained by John Dunlop is being pointed toward the Rothmans Royals St. Leger…The Ontario Jockey Club is planning the immediate construction of 160 semi-permanent stalls for Woodbine Racecourse to ease an overcrowding problem that will result when yearlings are shipped in for the September sales. Hugh Mitchell, OJC's senior vice president for racing, said the stalls that will be in place from August until October are the only viable short-term solution to the problem, which has been magnified by the number of horses lured to Woodbine as a result of the purses that are being paid by the Ontario track…The American Graded Stakes Committee of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association has restored the grade III status of the Oceanport Handicap at Monmouth Park on July 15, 2000. In accordance with the committee's policy, the Oceanport was automatically downgraded to ungraded status and was conducted as an ungraded stakes race when it was moved from turf to the main track. The committee's policy that also calls for a review of a race that has been downgraded resulted in restoration of the Oceanport's grade III for this year's renewal. Oceanport winner North East Bound, will be credited with a grade III win; and the second- and third-place finishers, Rize and Selective, will be credited with grade III placings…The hunch bet of the day, Miss Sara Toga at 6-1, won the Spa's first race Monday and paid her backers $14.40, $5.10, and $4.10. Pat Day rode for trainer Allen Iwicki and owner Gumpster Stable... Golden Missile remained the leader in the NTRA Thoroughbred poll with Lemon Drop Kid holding on to second place. With her win in the grade I Go For Wand Handicap, Heritage of Gold moved from fourth to third, bumping Behrens to fourth. The 3-year-old poll remained unchanged with Kentucky Derby (gr.
