Two jockeys with histories of substance abuse were issued formal notices of ejection by Churchill Downs on Tuesday.

The notices issued jockeys Tracy Hebert and Francisco Torres bars the two men from entering the track's grounds until further notice. A statement from Churchill that not elaborate on the reasons for the actions said the ejection orders are reciprocal and will be universally recognized by any member track of the Thoroughbred Racing Associations, which includes all Thoroughbred tracks in Kentucky and most major American Thoroughbred tracks.

Hebert was ordered off his mounts over the weekend after a blood sample was reportedly taken from him Friday. The Daily Racing Form reported that Churchill officials were still awaiting word on the test results Monday. As has been widely reported, Hebert signed an agreement with the Kentucky Racing Commission earlier this year that could result in a five-year ban if it is violated.

Torres ordered off his last mount on Saturday's card and did not attend a meeting with stewards on Sunday and has been suspended indefinitely, the Form reported.
