Lakeview to Disperse Stock at Barretts in January

The racing and breeding stock owned by Lakeview Thoroughbred Farm near Lakeview, Calif., will be dispersed during the 2004 Barretts January mixed sale. There will be approximately 60 horses in the consignment, according to a Barretts spokesman.
Lakeview, operated by Olivia and Carl Cannata, has been sold to developers. The farm stands the stallions Joyeux Danseur and Category Five. Plans concerning where the stallions will stand in 2004 have not been announced.
The Barrretts sale will be held Jan. 26 and 27 in Southern California.
