Paul Meyocks Dead at 81

Paul Blair Meyocks, longtime jockey agent and father of former New York Racing Association president Terry Meyocks, died Sunday at Manor Care Nursing Home in Plantation, Fla. after a lengthy illness. He was 81.
Meyocks was the agent for Hall of Fame jockey Earlie Fires and was well known throughout the country, but particularly in the East and Midwest.
A viewing will be held Thursday at Kenny Brothers Funeral Home in Evergreen, Ill. from 3-9 p.m. Central time. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church in Evergreen Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, Ill.
