Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day, the leading rider in Churchill Downs' "Fall Festival Of Racing," is ill and has taken off all of mounts on Friday's big holiday racing program.

Day's list of Friday mounts included Joseph Vitello's favored Tenpins in the 129th running of the $500,000-added Clark Handicap (gr. II). Trainer Don Winfree has named Corey Lanerie to replace Day in the saddle aboard the Michigan-bred son of Smart Strike.

Day missed the Thanksgiving Day racing program and was reported to be suffering from a sinus ailment.

Day's lead in the fall jockey standings stands at 16 over Cornelio Velasquez.
