Lightnin N Thunder, twice stakes-placed as a 2-year-old this year, will enter stud at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla.

Campaigned as homebred for WinStar Farm, Lightnin N Thunder broke his maiden by seven lengths in his second start, then ran third in the James C. Ellis Juvenile Stakes and second in the Miller Genuine Draft Cradle Stakes, during which he fractured a sesamoid. He started four times in his career and earned $68,510.

A son of Storm Cat, Lightnin N Thunder was produced from grade I winner Things Change (by Stalwart). He will stand for $4,000 live foal and will be supported in a big way by both WinStar and Bridlewood.
