The Race For Education is accepting nominations for the second annual Horsemen Of All Ages Sale, to be held Feb. 20 at Gulfstream Park near Miami, Florida. The event, chaired by Nadia Sanan of Padua Stables, will feature an auction of bachelors and bachelorettes in the racing and equestrian industries, with the proceeds going to The Race For Education. Nomination forms can be downloaded from www.racingscholarships.com and mailed or faxed to The Race For Education.

"For the Sale, we‚re looking for single men and women involved in horseracing and other equestrian sports," said Elisabeth Jensen, Executive Director of The Race For Education. "This is a light-hearted spoof of a horse sale, so the only real requirement is a sense of humor."

The inaugural Horsemen Of All Ages Sale was held last March in Lexington and featured jockeys Greta Kuntzweiler and Kris Prather, Lexington restaurateur Lucie Sloane, Chronicle of the Horse publisher Rob Banner, Daily Racing Form's Jay Privman, Hill 'n'Dale Farm's Donato Lanni, and Race for Education Executive Director Elisabeth Jensen, as well as other prominent horsemen and women. Walt Robertson, president of Fasig-Tipton, acted as auctioneer. Local restaurants donated complimentary dinners for two to each winning bidder. The event, which included a buffet dinner and open bar, raised $45,000 for The Race for Education.
