Entepreneur, a 6-year-old son of Cure the Blues who stood his first season at stud last year at The Stallion Park, will relocate to Liberty Stud near Ghent, N.Y. for the 2004 breeding season. His fee will be $1,500 live foal.
Entepreneur, owned by Gary and Mary West Stables, won seven of 25 starts and placed in 11 other events while earning $441,214. At two, he won the Great White Way and Sleepy Hollow Stakes, both for New York-breds. At 5, he placed in two graded events, running second in the six-furlong True North Handicap (gr. II) and the six-furlong Count Fleet Sprint Handicap (gr. III). He also placed in the Pelleteri Breeders' Cup Handicap and three other stakes in his four-year racing career.
Entepreneur is out of the winning Miswaki mare Iniki.
"He offers New York breeders the winning combination of pedigree, performance, and outstanding conformation," said Jim Scott, owner of Liberty Stud. "And at $1,500, he is an exceptional bargain."
