Select Stable's Take Charge Lady breezed a strong five furlongs over a "sloppy" Churchill Downs track on Wednesday in preparation for the $300,000-added Falls City Handicap (gr. II) on Thanksgiving Day. Jockey Tony D'Amico was in the irons as the daughter of Dehere covered the distance in 1:00.80--which ranked third among 15 moves at the distance.

D'Amico is scheduled to ride the two-time winner of Keeneland's Spinster (gr. I) in the Falls City. She was runner-up to Allamerican Bertie in that race a year ago.

Trainer Elliott Walden said Churchill Downs Distaff (gr. II) runner-up Awesome Humor will run in the Falls City. The race is expected to be her final career start.
