Shake You Down, tops field for De Francis Dash.
Led by multiple graded stakes winner Shake You Down, third in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) Oct. 25, a probable field of 11 is being pointed toward Saturday's Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash (gr. I) at Laurel Park. Entries for the $300,000 race at six furlongs will be taken Wednesday.
Trained by Scott Lake, Shake You Down has won six of 11 this year, including three graded races.
Also expected to contest the De Francis are Private Horde, the Breeders' Cup Sprint sixth-place finisher who defeated Shake You Down in the six-furlong Alfred Vanderbilt Stakes (gr. II) at Saratoga this summer, as well as Deer Run and Boston Common, the respective second- and sixth-place finishers in the 2002 edition of the De Francis
Maryland-based sprinters Crossing Point, Gators N Bears, Take Achance On Me and A Huevo are probable starters, as shippers Aggadan, Way To The Top and Highway Prospector.
