The Tin Man, fourth in the 2003 Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT), worked five furlongs Friday in 1:02 4/5 under exercise rider Crystal Brown.
"He'll have one more stiff workout and then we'll decide about the Hollywood Turf Cup (gr. IT) on Nov. 22," trainer Richard Mandella said. The Turf Cup has a purse of $250,000 at 1 ½ miles.

Mandella gave a brief update on his Breeders' Cup competitors.
"The babies are all let down," Mandella said, referring to Juvenile Fillies champion Halfbridled and Juvenile winner Action This Day, Juvenile runner-up Minister Eric and 10th-place finisher Siphonizer.
"Pleasantly Perfect (Classic winner), I'll wait till after the first of the year (to resume training)."
Mandella said Alex Solis has been engaged to ride Johar in the Japan Cup at about 12 furlongs on turf at Tokyo Racecourse on Nov. 30. The race has a purse of nearly $4 million (U.S.), with more than $2 million to the winner.
Johar is to ship on Nov. 19, said Mandella.
