Ciano Cat, one of Canada's leading first-crop sires, will stand the 2004 season at Gardner Farms near Caledon East, Ontario, Canada, for $4,000 (Canadian funds). An 8-year-old son of Storm Cat, Ciano Cat is the sire of seven winners, including stakes winner Waikoloa and stakes-placed Duracat, and the earners of nearly $150,000.
Ciano Cat, who was produced from the Key to the Mint mare Rare Mint, is a half-brother to four stakes winners, including Robin Des Bois, sire of millionaire Gentlemen. He formerly stood at Empire Meadows near Ardrossan, Alberta, Canada.
