Grade II Winner Prime Timber to Sez Who in New York

Grade II winner Prime Timber, who stood the past breeding season at Richard Simon's Sez Who Thoroughbreds near Ocala, Fla., has arrived at the outfit's New York farm near Stillwater. His fee will remain $5,000 live foal.

One of the West Coast's prime 3-year-olds of 1999, Prime Timber (Sultry Song--Wine Taster, by Nodouble) won the San Felipe (gr. II) and In Excess Stakes and ran second in the Santa Anita Derby (gr. I) and San Rafael Stakes (gr. II). As a 2-year-old, he ran second in the Hollywood Futurity (gr. I). Graded stakes-placed at four, he
earned a career total of $621,238.

Prime Timber's first foals are weanlings.
