Fasig-Tipton Officials Optimistic About November Mixed Sale

Fasig-Tipton Kentucky kicks off the breeding stock selling season in Central Kentucky Sunday with its November select auction, which begins at 7 p.m. (EST). There are 101 horses catalogued, including grade III winner Win Crafty Lady, who is the dam of grade I winner Harmony Lodge and grade II winner Graeme Hall, The 15-year-old mare is in foal to Giant's Causeway. The book also includes 61 weanlings.

"With the strength of the yearling market, we're not just cautiously optimistic, we're optimistic," said Terence Collier, Fasig-Tipton's director of marketing. "This group of weanlings is consistently good physically, and they are by sires that will appeal to people who are considering pinhooking."

In addition, Fasig-Tipton will conduct the Adena Springs annual broodmare sale on Thursday and the Stallion Access auction of select seasons and shares on Friday. Both begin at 7:30 p.m.
