Millionaire Tates Creek has been retired after her unplaced effort in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT). The homebred filly for Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms might be bred to the farm's Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Empire Maker, who will enter stud in 2004 at the Lexington nursery.

Five-year-old Tates Creek (Rahy--Viviana, by Nureyev) won this year's Yellow Ribbon Stakes (gr. IT), plus the Gamely Breeders' Cup (gr. IT) and San Gorgonio (gr. IIT) Handicaps. She retired with 11 wins from 17 starts and earnings of $1,471,674.

Juddmonte also plans to decide if additional 2003 grade I winners Sightseek and Heat Haze will remain in training.
