Stakes Winner Changeintheweather to Pin Oak

Multiple stakes winner Changeintheweather has arrived for stallion duty at Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud near Versailles, Ky. The 4-year-old Pin Oak homebred, who deadheated for third in the Oct. 25 Fayette Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland despite having his saddle slip around the first turn, will stand for $7,500.
A son of Gone West, Changeintheweather won the Grey Breeders' Cup Stakes (Can-I) at Woodbine as a 2-year-old and this year's Gate Dancer Stakes at Delaware Park. Stakes-placed five times in his career, he retired with five wins from15 starts and earnings of $441,247 while trained first by David Bell, then Graham Motion.
Changeintheweather's dam, Meteor Colony (by Pleasant Colony), is a full sister to Eclipse Award winner Pleasant Stage.
Pin Oak also announced the following fees: Broken Vow, $10,000; Maria's Mon. $35,000; Peaks and Valleys, $10,000; and Sky Classic. $12,500.
