Youbet.com has hired two new marketing executives as regional general managers of Youbet's aggressive new business development program.

David B. Bonfield, a widely experienced advertising and marketing executive who was most recently publisher of the Trentonian/Journal Register Company, New Jersey, has become general manager of Youbet's Eastern Region. Jeff True, former general manager and director of marketing of Los Alamitos Race Course in Cypress, California and a 15-year veteran of the horse racing industry, has joined Youbet as General Manager, Western Region.

The new Youbet executives will be responsible for management and development of existing race track and marketing relationships, including track and vendor contract negotiations, and for expansion of Youbet's presence in their respective regions, the Company said. They will also monitor state and local legislatures and other regulatory bodies and develop relationships with leading horsemen.
