Solred Stallions Relocated in Florida

Master Bill and Dawn Quixote will stand the 2004 season at Jim and Sheila DiMare's Rising Hill Farm near Ocala, Fla., and Palance will hold court at Monte and Cathy Thomas' Ups and Downs Farm near Citra, Fla. The three stallions formerly stood at Fred Berens and Solomon Garazi's Solred Farms near Ocala. The relocation was necessitated because of the farm's sale.

Ten-year-old Master Bill (Forty Niner--Banker's Lady's, by Nijinsky II) is the sire of multiple stakes winner Just Bill Me. His fee is $3,500. Graded stakes winner Dawn Quixote, a 16-year-old son of Grey Dawn II out of the Seattle Slew mare Tilting, has sired seven stakes winners and the earners of $7 million. His fee is $2,000.

Twelve-year-old Palance, a stakes winner by Crusader Sword out of the Cherokee Fellow mare High Cherokee, will stand for $1,000.

Berens and Garazi plan to continue in racing and breeding, and have moved their mares to several Florida farms.
