A panel discussion will be part of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association's Breeders' Cup seminar Oct. 24 at Santa Anita Park. The focus of the seminar, for current or prospective owners, will be the California racing and breeding industry.

The half-day program will cover different aspects of the Thoroughbred business. Panelists will be California Thoroughbred Breeders Association president Doug Burge, Thoroughbred Owners of California board members John Van de Kamp and Ron Charles, Santa Anita vice president Chris McCarron, and partnership representatives from Team Valor, Class Racing, and Horizon Stable.

Registration for the seminar will begin at 8:15 a.m. Pacific time in the Baldwin Room at the Arcadia, Calif., racetrack. Fees for the seminar are $100 for TOBA members and $125 for non-TOBA members. The cost includes all support materials, admission, breakfast, lunch, presentations, and seating for the day of racing.

TOBA's next scheduled seminar is the "Two Day Conformation and Pedigree Clinic" Oct. 31-Nov. 1 in Lexington. For more information on TOBA's seminars and clinics, contact Katie North at (859) 276-2291 or knorth@toba.org.
