Keeneland Online Nov. Auction Starts Without Sales

Keeneland's first Internet auction for November attracted 21 entries, but no horses had changed hands when bidding ended. The online auction for RNAs from the breeding stock sale used the same format set up in September. Bidding started at 8 a.m., then closed hip-by-hip in five minute intervals beginning at 4 p.m.
The next online auction is Wednesday, and horses to be entered in the sale will be posted today.
Keeneland will hold two more online auctions on Nov. 20 and a comprehensive auction on Dec. 6. The December auction will include outs and RNAs from the entire November breeding stock sale. The entry deadline for the final auction will be Nov. 29. Entries will be posted on Dec. 1.
