Forest Secrets Retired; Booked to Monarchos

Debby Oxley has announced that her grade I winner Forest Secrets has been retired and that the 5-year-old daughter of Forest Wildcat will be bred to Monarchos. Syndicated Monarchos, who won the 2001 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) for Oxley's husband, John, stands at Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky.
Forest Secrets, who is winless in four starts this year, won the 2001 Acorn Stakes (gr. I) and Falls City Handicap (gr. III), plus the Rampart Handicap (gr. II) the following year. She placed in four stakes, including two of which were graded and this year's Madison Stakes.
Bred by William Patterson and James Glenn, Forest Wildcat retires with four wins from 17 starts and earnings of $604,453 for trainer John T. Ward Jr. Her dam, Garden Secrets (by Time for a Change), is a half-sister to champion Silverbulletday.
