Graded stakes winner Strategic Mission will stand the 2004 breeding season at Metropolitan Stud near Pine Plains, N.Y. His fee has been reduced to $5,000 from $7,500. A half-brother to millionaires Solar Splendor and Sultry Song, Strategic Mission (Mr. Prospector -- Sultry Sun, by Buckfinder) formerly stood at Graham J. Beck's Gainesway Farm near Lexington. He is owned by Gainesway and Charlotte Weber's Live Oak Stud.
