Splasha, ridden by Manuel Aguilar, shot to the lead inside the furlong marker and was all out to hold off the late rally of Sara's Success to take the $100,000 Shocker T. Handicap by a head on Saturday at Calder Race Course.

The David Vivian-trained filly traveled the mile and a sixteenth over a fast track in 1:46 3/5 and paid $22.40, $9 and $6.60.

The 3-year-old daughter of Twining, who captured the $100,000 Office Queen Stakes earlier this year, picked up her third win in eight starts this season and seventh victory in 17 starts overall. Owned by Douglas P. Gibson, Splasha earned $60,000 to boost her bankroll to $181,580.

She has won seven of her 11 starts at Calder.

Sara's Success, widest of all in the stretch under apprentice jockey Eddie Castro, was second and paid $9.20 and $6.60. Scapade finished third in the field of 12 distaffers and returned $5.
