Perfect Drift, whose connections are considering a run in the Oct. 25 Breeders' Cup Classic - Powered by Dodge (gr. I), will work Saturday at Churchill Downs' Trackside Louisville training center.
The son of Dynaformer, owned by Dr. William Reed's Stonecrest Farms and trained by Murray Johnson, is scheduled to work over the seven-furlong track just after the morning break, about 8:15 a.m.
Reed and his son, Bryan, will be arriving from their homes in Kansas City to watch the work.
The four-year-gelding has won five of seven starts this year. His 2003 victories include wins over Mineshaft in the Stephen Foster (gr. I) and Congaree in the Kentucky Cup Classic (gr. II).
