Darley Stud Management's Ruler's Court, impressive winner of the Norfolk Stakes (gr. II) at Santa Anita on Oct. 5, has been declared out of the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I).Jimmy Bell, spokesman for Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stud, said the decision not to run the 2-year-old son of Doneraile Court was made in the best interest of the stable's goal to win the Kentucky Derby (gr. I)."Sheikh Mohammed has a well-documented desire to win the Kentucky Derby for Godolphin, therefore he has made the decision that it would be in the best interest of the colt to pass on the Juvenile,'' Bell said in a press release.Bred in Kentucky by Doug Arnold and Dr. Roy Sadovsky, Ruler's Court broke his maiden in his career debut, then finished third and fourth, respectively, in the Hollywood Juvenile (gr. III) and Best Pal Stakes (gr. II) before romping home by 14 lengths in the Norfolk.
