Grade II Winner Golden Gear to Blooming Hills in California

Ron and Fran Stolich have purchased grade II winner Golden Gear for stallion duty at their Blooming Hills near Clements, Calif. A 12-year-old son of Gulch out of the Lypheor mare Fineza, Golden Gear has sired the earners of $5.3 million, including Canadian champion Ginger Gold and four other stakes winners. Golden Gear, who last stood in Florida, will stand for $3,000.
