Groomstick, Macabe to Tooth-Acres in Arkansas

Groomstick, an 11-time stakes winner, and stakes-placed Macabe will stand at Mark Toothaker's Tooth-Acres Farm near Lavaca, Ark. Five-year-old Macabe, a son of Gone West out of the stakes-winning Seattle Slew mare Laguna Seca, won two races and placed in two Southern California stakes from 18 starts and earned $108,326. He will stand his first season for $1,250.
Groomstick (Runaway Groom -- Dame Francesca, by Francis S.) has sired five stakes winners and the earners of $7.2 million. Formerly at T-Square Stud near Fairfield, Fla., 17-year-old Groomstick will stand for $1,000.
