Ascend Media Gaming Group and the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program have announced the conference lineup for the second Racing & Gaming Summit, Dec. 9 at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. The Racing & Gaming Summit addresses the emergence of casino-style gaming at racetracks throughout North America, which has proven successful in several areas.
MGM Mirage Chairman and CEO J. Terrence Lanni will provide the luncheon keynote address. Conference session topics for the one-day summit have been announced and include: Racing & Gaming: Regulation & Profitability; The New York Experience, Gaming Machines and the Multi-State Lottery Association, and the Reality of Gaming's Impact on the Racing Industry
Panelists and speakers come from nearly every segment of the racing, lottery and casino industries. The full line-up of speakers can be viewed and registration is available at www.rgsummit.com.
The Racing & Gaming Summit is the only conference that brings together leaders from the three major segments of the gaming industry: racing, lotteries and casinos. It is a unique opportunity for participants from all three segments to interact and discuss common issues and challenges. The Summit precedes the Race Track Industry Program's 30th annual Symposium on Racing, which attracts more than 1,000 attendees each year and is the largest racing conference in North America. It continues at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort through Dec. 12.
