With the defection of Janice R. Whitham's Solar Echo, Keeneland racing secretary Ben Huffman has invited Willmott Stable's Aud to run in the grade I, $500,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The 3-year-old daughter of Wild Again from the Broad Brush mare Gail's Brush, was an impressive winner of the Pucker Up stakes at Arlington Park last month. She has won four of nine starts and earned $192,915 for trainer Anthony Reinstedler.

Peter Willmott races Aud and Sand Springs in the name Willmott Stables. Sand Springs, who won the Lake Placid Handicap at Saratoga, is also considered a probable for the race.
