Omega Code, an authoritative one-length winner of Sunday's $107,800 San Miguel Stakes (gr. III) for 3-year-olds at six furlongs, could have a new owner soon.

"There's a possibility of a sale," trainer Wesley Ward said Wednesday morning between calls on his cell phone. "We're entertaining a bunch of offers and we'll kind of go from there. It's a bunch of different interests, so we're just trying to see which way it goes."

Ward indicated that one offer was for seven figures.

Omega Code, a $350,000 Florida-bred son of Elusive Quality, won for the third time in five starts in capturing the San Miguel. His earnings stand at $159,990. His present owners are Dan Butler (50 percent) and Mike Moore (25 percent) of Dallas, and Ward (25percent).

Meanwhile, Omega Code remains a possibility for the Sunshine Millions Dash.

"I nominated him to the race," Ward said. "He ran fast (in the San Miguel, 1:08.65 for six furlongs) and got a two on the Ragozin Sheets, (so) by all means he should be 'bouncing,' but right now he's bouncing around the barn. I have to look at all my options."
