Following its acquisition by Magna Entertainment and the promotion of Corey Johnson to MEC Group Vice President for Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida, Lone Star Park has restructured its management team through several promotions within the company. Eugene Joyce , who had served as director of player development and interim general manager at Remington Park, has been promoted to Lone Star Park's assistant general manager; John Records, previously director of customer service, was named director of The Post Time Pavilion (Lone Star's simulcast facility); Keith Moore, formerly the Post Time Pavilion manager, will oversee retail sales and player development, including Jockey Club membership and box seat ownership relations; Greg Stankavick was promoted from assistant director of security to director of security after R.D. Logan was named general manager of Remington Park; Tracy Dunlap, formerly corporate sales manager was promoted to director of group and corporate sales; and Caren Cook was named group sales manager... Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 321 offerings for its 2003 Calder Selected Two-year-olds in Training Sale at Calder Race Course on Feb. 25. The sale will be conducted in a single, continuous session from 11 a.m. Two under-tack shows will be held -- the first on Feb. 16, and the Feb. 23. Catalogues are already posted at the company's website and will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices from Jan. 21... Starquine will hold an online stallion season auction Feb. 17-24. Owners of seasons can list them in the auction for $75. There are no commissions, buyer's premiums or additional fees required. The auction will be conducted online with prospective buyers entering their bids after registering to bid. The successful bidders will make all payments and arrangements directly with the season owner. ...Reservations are still being accepted for The Big Sport of Turfdom luncheon honoring Kenny and Sue McPeek. The event is scheduled for Monday, January 27 (the afternoon of the Eclipse Awards dinner), with cocktails at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m. at Mastro‚s Steakhouse in Los Angeles, Calif.
