Millionaire Free House's First Stakes Winner

House of Fortune, from the first crop of millionaire Free House, won the restricted Cover Gal Stakes Oct. 1 at Santa Anita. The odds-on favorite, House of Fortune scored by 2 1/2 lengths for owner Arnold Zetcher and trainer Ron McAnally. John Treasure bred the California-born winner.
Free House (Smokester--Fountain Lake, by Vigors) was a multiple grade I winner who placed in all three 1997 classics on his way to earning $3.1 million. He stands at Vessels Stallion Farm near Bonsall, Calif.
