Bradshaw Goes to Work For Adena Springs
Randy Bradshaw has been hired as a farm trainer by Frank Stronach's Adena Springs operation. He was scheduled to begin work at Adena Springs South near Ocala, Fla., in early October, according to Dan Hall, who manages Adena Springs in Kentucky.Hall said Bradshaw would work with the 2-year-olds that Stronach plans to race while Adena Springs South manager Mark Roberts would oversee the 2-year-olds that Adena Springs plans to sell during its annual March auction. Hall did not rule out Bradshaw taking some young horses to the racetrack."We'll have to see how it evolves," Hall said.Bradshaw formerly was the farm trainer for Padua Stables in Florida. He had been full-time with Padua since the summer of 2001. But Padua general manager Nadia Sanan said in August that Bradshaw had been replaced by Shane Tripp. She declined to give a reason for the change.Bradshaw has also worked as an assistant to Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Bradshaw had his own stable in the 1980s, training such outstanding runners as champion sprinter Artax, Petionville, and Urbane.
