The Race For Education is a non-profit organization established to provide educational opportunities within the Thoroughbred racing industry. The organization's primary fundraising strategy invites owners to nominate their horses to the program and agree to donate one percent or more of the horses' earnings to the program.

Horses racing for education opening weekend include Touch of The Blues and Stage Call in the Shadwell Turf Mile (gr. IT), and Tiger Hunt and Victory Light running in the Lane's End Breeders' Futurity (gr. II).

Fran Taylor, Keeneland Foundation executive director, said that the match is in keeping with Keeneland's longstanding philosophy to give back to the community and industry.
