At that time, Rhythm was on the roster at Coolmore's Ashford Stud, located near Versailles, Ky. He had returned to the U.S. in 1996, four years after starting out at Arrow Stud in Japan.
Rhythm was sold after the 1999 season and relocated to Dave Ferguson's Diamond F Ranch near Grass Valley, Calif., where he currently stands.
Rhythm's invitation to return south comes on the back of his strong showing in Australasia, particularly by his daughters. Led by Ethereal, the Rhythm distaffers also include Tapildo and Purple Groove. Rhythm's worldwide earnings are more than $29 million (U.S. funds).
