Atswhatimtalknbout, who came out his last work with a minor foot bruise, jogged perfectly Saturday morning, and is scheduled to work again on Tuesday, trainer Ron Ellis said.
"The foot is lot better than yesterday," Ellis said. "The abscess popped and we drained it out. He jogged a mile this morning and he went 110 percent; he was hitting the ground great. He even broke into a gallop and used that (right) lead. He has no medication in him, like Bute, because we didn't want to mask anything. So, it looks like were back on track. Lots of times these things are not big a deal, while other times they can linger for a week. Luckily, everything looks great, and I feel a lot better than I did yesterday."
Ellis said the son of A.P. Indy, owned by B. Wayne Hughes and Biscuit Stables, is scheduled to ship to Belmont Park on the Wednesday before the race.
In other Belmont news, Team Valor president Barry Irwin said Colita, winner of an allowance race at Belmont last week, will be ridden in the Belmont Stakes by Ramon Dominguez.
