Running Stag to Stand at Adena Springs

Globe-trotting millionaire Running Stag will enter stud for a fee of $10,000 live foal at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky near Midway. Ky. The 6-year-old horse raced for Richard Cohen and was bought privately by Adena Springs.
Running Stag (Cozzene -- Fruhlingstag, by Orsini II) won seven of 40 races and earned $1,663,227. His big wins came in the Massachusetts (gr. II), Brooklyn (gr. II), and Saratoga Breeders' Cup (gr. II) Handicaps. He also was a group winner in France, group I stakes-placed in Hong Kong, and stakes-placed in England.
