Lucayan Prince, an English and Irish champion, came up with his first winner when his son Royal Photographer won Sept. 13 at Fairplex Park in 1:48.56 for 1 1/16 miles. Bred by E.W. (Bud) and Judy Johnston's Old English Rancho, the gelding races for the couple. Lucayan Prince (Fast Play -- Now That's Funny, by Saratoga Six) stands at Old English near Ontario, Calif.
