Forestry colt, bought by Lewises for $950,000.
A colt from the second-crop of Forestry brought a final bid of $950,000 from Bob and Beverly Lewis to get the fourth day of the Keeneland September yearling sale off to another strong start Thursday.

Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Forest Fighter is the second foal out of the Alydar mare Alyfair, who is a half sister to graded stakes winners Advancing Star and Darby Fair. Both trainers Bob Baffert and D. Wayne Lukas were seated with the Lewises when the hammer fell.

One hip earlier, Tracy Farmer went to $350,000 to purchase a daughter of Storm Creek consigned by James Keogh/Grovendale. She is out of the unraced Alydar mare Altair and is a half sister to the grade II winner Blazonry.
