Malibu Moon Relocated to Castleton Lyons in Kentucky

Malibu Moon, sixth on the first-crop sire list, has been moved to Dr. Tony Ryan's Castleton Lyons Farm near Lexington from the Pons family's Country Life Farm near Bel Air, Md. He will stand for the partnership of Castleton Lyons, Country Life, and B. Wayne Hughes, who raced him.

Six-year-old Malibu Moon (A.P. Indy -- Macoumba, by Mr. Prospector) is represented by one of the year's leading 2-year-olds in Perfect Moon. The colt has won the Best Pal Stakes (gr. II) and Hollywood Juvenile Championship Stakes (gr. III) and earned $183,870. Malibu Moon's total for the year is $247,519. A fee will be announced later.
