Favourable Terms Coasts to Irish Matron Win

Maktoum Al Maktoum's Favourable Terms, ridden confidently by Kieren Fallon for trainer Michael Stoute, scored a neck victory over Perfect Touch in the betfair.com Matron Stakes (Ire-II) at Leopardstown Saturday.

The 11-10 favorite in the field of nine, Favourable Terms, a 3-year-old daughter of Selkirk, went 1:39.9 for the mile on a good to firm course.

Rated second behind the fast pace of Dixie Evans, She grabbed the lead at the head of the straight, opened up a comfortable lead and eased home in the final 50 yards. Patrick Smullen brought Perfect Touch along to be second, a half-length ahead of Dossier, ridden by John Murtagh.
