Jockey Gary Stevens worked a horse at Del Mar Thursday morning for the first time since being injured in the Arlington Million (gr. IT) Aug. 16. He was astride Fun House for trainer Ron McAnally in a 1:14 2/5 six-furlong drill.

Stevens sustained a collapsed lung and broken bone in the upper vertebra when struck by an oncoming horse after apparent Million winner Storming Home bolted nearing the wire and dropped the rider.

Coincidentally, Storming Home worked for trainer Neil Drysdale for the first time since his Million disqualification, drilling four furlongs in :47 on the Del Mar turf.
