Hopeful Begins CNBC's Juvenile Stakes Coverage

The Bessemer Trust 2-year-old Challenge on CNBC kicks off Saturday with the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga Race Course.

The Hopeful will be part of a one-hour program on CNBC beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern. Kenny Rice will host with Charlsie Cantey and Mike Battaglia providing commentary and analysis.

The series continues Oct. 4 at 3:30 p.m. with the Lane's End Breeders' Futurity (gr. II), Champagne Stakes (gr. I), and Arlington-Washington Futurity (gr. III). The series concludes the following day beginning at 8 p.m. with the Norfolk Stakes (gr. II), Grey Breeders' Cup Stakes, and the Grand Criterium (Fr. I) from Longchamp.
