Gracefully gave trainer Sylvester Kirk his first group win with a convincing two-length victory over odds-on favorite Ithaca in the Prestige Stakes (Eng-III) at Goodwood Sunday.

A former assistant to his father-in-law, Kirk has won all three races he's entered with the filly, ridden each time by John Egan.

"She's a really nice filly and our biggest problem now is where she will go next," Kirk told The Racing Post. But it's a nice problem to have and I suppose we will have to think about the 1,000 Guineas now."

Gracefully won a duel with Ithaca throught the straight.

Thurloe Thoroughbreds owns Gracefully, who was reportedly purchased for $10,000 at Doncaster last year.
