Terence Collier was unanimously named president of the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation by the organization's board of directors. Collier, the director of marketing and sales announcer for Fasig-Tipton, succeeds John Stuart.

Stuart resigned from his position so that he could better focus his attentions on raising money for the TRF.

Collier has long been a supporter and advocate of the TRF. Through his work with Fasig-Tipton's Blue Horse Charities, he has helped raise money for the organization and, over the years, has volunteered his time and skills to serve as the announcer at the TRF's annual fund-raising gala in Saratoga.

Stuart served as the TRF's president for five years, a period of growth for the organization during which he excelled as a fund-raiser and as a manager of the TRF's growing population of and retirement facilities.

"I wish to thank John Stuart for his dedication, incredible energy and unrestricted time during his tenure," said TRF executive director Diana Pikulski.
